First of all Thank You so very much for taking the time to stop by and browse the items in my little corner of Etsy. Secondly, I have been noticing that the Etsy Shipping Calculator has been overcharging for shipping (I have had to give refunds on just about every purchase since the beginning of the year). Please know that although I do charge a small handling fee for shipping supplies, I am not trying to make money on shipping costs. I WILL REFUND any overage on shipping costs over $1. I have had issues since the beginning of the year when USPS changed the shipping rates and have not been able to figure out why the calculator has been overcharging so much. So please do not let the shipping costs scare you into not purchasing from my shoppe and if you have questions at all about the shipping quoted by Etsy, please ask. I cannot see what you are seeing as your shipping costs, but if you want an accurate quote, do not hesitate to message me with your zip code and I will be more than happy to give you an accurate shipping quote. Thank You so much for stopping by! Have a Most Deslightful Day!…Jewel ;o)
What a Stunning example of Shabby Chic 4th of July. This is made from all real wood including the circle at the bottom. I cut 1 1/4″ dowel into 6″, 5″ and 4″ sections. I then sanded them all to make sure there were no rough edges or splinters. I then coated them in White, Pink and Aqua Chalk Paint and then gave them some White Wash so they have that old faded look. Next I drilled holes in the tops to allow for the Silver Tinsel Sparklers at the top to be added. Next I painted a wood 3″ circle White then covered it in Silver Glitter. I then glued the Vintage Style Silver Tinsel around the base of the Firecrackers and used it for the Sparklers at the top. Next I added Vintage Seam Binding Ribbon to give them that tied together look and topped that off with a Vintage Silver German Glass Glittered Star that I made (you can purchase these and others in my Crafting Confections Etsy Shoppe). This is for those of us that Love decorating for the Holidays but want something a little different from the standard Red White & Blue. I know the red and blue doesn’t go with any of my decor so I’ve always found ways to incorporate the theme but in my color scheme. 🙂 Sorry, I can’t keep talking about it because it is just so Gorge!!! I’m in Love with it. 🙂
Since it is solid wood it is on the heavier side, but it’s sturdy and will last the test of time. It would look Great displayed anywhere in your home; on a tiered tray, on a stack of books, on an entryway table or on a fireplace mantle, etc,. And it looks good from all angles not just from the front. Also note that you may need to fluff the Sparklers up a bit as they may get a little disheveled in shipping although I try to pack them as good as I can I can’t control how many times the packages are thrown on the way to your house. lol But they are easy to bend back in place or make them how you want them to look. I also have others available as shown in the last pic in this Etsy Shoppe, but I also have others in other color ways and themes in my other various Etsy Shoppes as well. So if Shabby Chic isn’t your style I have Rustic, Farmhouse, Retro, French Country, etc,. available in my other respective shoppes.
If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask. I’m always honest and open as I want you to be 100% happy with your purchase.
This Gorgeous 4th of July Display is approx. 8″T x 3 1/8″W x 3 1/8″Diam.
