Secondly, I have been noticing that the Etsy Shipping Calculator has been overcharging for shipping (I have had to give refunds on just about every purchase since the beginning of the year). Please know that although I do charge a small handling fee for shipping supplies, I am not trying to make money on shipping costs. I WILL REFUND any overage on shipping costs over $1. I have had issues since the beginning of the year when USPS changed the shipping rates and have not been able to figure out why the calculator has been overcharging so much. So please do not let the shipping costs scare you into not purchasing from my shoppe and if you have questions at all about the shipping quoted by Etsy, please ask. I cannot see what you are seeing as your shipping costs, but if you want an accurate quote, do not hesitate to message me with your zip code and I will be more than happy to give you an accurate shipping quote. These Gorgeous French Country Cottage “Petit Gâteau Français” Ornaments are a must have this Holiday Season and beyond. You could use these as Knob Hangers or Gift Tags or Decor Pieces or Chandelier Hangers or Wedding Party Gifts and the list goes on and on and on what you could use these for.

I started out painting Wood Heart Ornaments in a French Linen Chalk Paint. Then I decoupaged them with various Cupcake images that any Lover of Cupcakes would be proud of. The images have Cupcakes, Birds, Butterflies, French, Candy, Pink Roses and more on them. The images are all trimmed in Lace as well. They all have a very nostalgic feel to them. After decoupaging on the images I then rubbed the edges with Gold Leaf Rub N Buff and then added a shimmery Fine Gold Glitter to give them Elegance and Sparkle. I then topped them off with a Sparkly Gold Ribbon Hanger. I just wish I could capture their true Beauty as they are so much prettier in person. My husband is the photographer in the family and unfortunately he has been out of town a lot lately so I haven’t had his photographic help.

These Ornaments are Made to Order. I can make a total of 6 of each ornament at this time. After that I will have to order more decoupage papers (if I can get them) and that will take a few weeks to get in. If you need more than what I can make at the moment then just convo me and I can let you know if I can get the ones you want and how long it will take. Here is a list of what I can make of each:
