Description
How Adorable is this little Paris Roses Crowned Bird Figurine? My Amazing Woobie (what my husband and I call each other 🙂 ) got me a resin printer for Christmas this past year. We finally recently got the room in the garage set up to accommodate it as having a cat with asthma I couldn’t use it in the house and it needs proper ventilation as well. So this is one of the first things I made with it. I started out with my Resin Prints of a Bird and a Pedestal and glued them together with industrial strength glue. Then I came in with some of my secret recipe Textured White Chalk Paint and gave it several coats to give it that Stone Like Texture. I then Handstamped out some Parisian and Roses Themed on white tissue paper w/ Black Archival Ink. Next I picked out all of the bits and bobs that I wanted to decoupage and cut them all out. After that I decoupaged them all on and sealed them up. Next I pulled this little Gold Metal Rhinestone Crown out of my stash and gave it that Aged Patina that I so Love to add that touch of Rustic and Grunge. I couldn’t get the sparkle of the Rhinestones to come out in the pics, but they do Sparkle and add a touch of Elegance. I did not glue the crown on so it makes it versatile. You can glue it on if you like, but it gives you the freedom to choose either crown or no crown, tilted crown or straight crown (tilted is adorable in my eyes lol). I think it came out Très Magnifique! A touch of French Country Spring!
This Little Cutie is approx. 6 “T w/ the crown x 4 1/2″W tummy to tail x 3 1/8″Diam. base. It is approx. 4 3/4″T w/o the crown.
