First of all Thank You so very much for taking the time to stop by and browse the items in my little corner of Etsy. Secondly, I have been noticing that the Etsy Shipping Calculator has been overcharging for shipping (I have had to give refunds on just about every purchase since the beginning of the year). Please know that although I do charge a small handling fee for shipping supplies, I am not trying to make money on shipping costs. I WILL REFUND any overage on shipping costs over $1. I have had issues since the beginning of the year when USPS changed the shipping rates and have not been able to figure out why the calculator has been overcharging so much. So please do not let the shipping costs scare you into not purchasing from my shoppe and if you have questions at all about the shipping quoted by Etsy, please ask. I cannot see what you are seeing as your shipping costs, but if you want an accurate quote, do not hesitate to message me with your zip code and I will be more than happy to give you an accurate shipping quote. Wow! This turned out absolutely Lovely and so much Prettier than I was expecting. When the vision in your head turns out just as Lovely as you wanted to, this is it. 🙂 I started out with a Real Wood (not MDF or pressed paper) Box/Plaque or whatever you want to call it. lol The back is hollowed out and painted Mauve just not White Waxed. I made the Rose plaster Mould and glued it to the center. I then gave it a coat of a custom color Mauve Chalk Paint and sealed it. I then gave it a DIY White Wax to add softness and romance and then rubbed on Gold Wax for Depth and Character. I then created the bow from a piece of a Mauve Lace Trim, Vintage Cream Lace Trim and a Blush Satin Ribbon. I then topped it off with an Antique Bronze Pearl & Rhinestone Brooch. The back is also painted in the Mauve Chalk Paint.
This would look great as a shelf sitter, tiered tray display or hanging on your wall. The perfect Romantic touch to any decor or as a gift to the one you Love.
