This Wood Decoupaged Riser turned out so so Sweet! I started with a Wood Plank and then added the Clay Moulds that framed this out that have roses and Florals on them. Next I painted the whole thing with several coats of White Chalk Paint. Next I Decoupaged on the Lovely image of Birds on Branches with Script in the background. Next I sealed everything for durability since I’m thinking that this may be used as a plant stand or in a kitchen. Next I glued on the Crystal Glass Knob Feet in Gold with industrial strength glue. Than I added Gold to the Frame for that touch of Elegance and to bring out the details in the Moulds. I tried to capture the DIY Gold Wax in the pics, but for some reason my camera was just not picking it up that well. I think the amount of sunlight coming in the window was causing it to reflect it rather than capture it. I also tried darkening a couple of the pics to somewhat show how much is really on it. I promise it’s there. 🙂 I think it turned out Absolutely Lovely!
The perfect Romantic touch to any decor or as a gift to the one you Love. This can be used as a candle riser, plant stand, trinket dish, vanity tray and so many other uses. You are only limited by your imagination.
