***********Note: These are regular sized vintage style clothespins (size is below in the description), they are NOT the larger sized clothespins. You get only 5 of them. The reason they are priced as they are is because they take a lot of time and many steps to make. I have never just slapped paint on something and called it a day. I ALWAYS put a lot of time and effort into every item I create no matter how large or how small. I want you to be fully happy with your purchase because besides creating to support my family (this is how I make my living), I put my heart and soul into every item so that they bring you a little bit of Joy, and I know we can all use a little more of that in our lives. First of all Thank You so very much for taking the time to stop by and browse the items in my little corner of Etsy. Secondly, I have been noticing that the Etsy Shipping Calculator has been overcharging for shipping (I have had to give refunds on just about every purchase since the beginning of the year). Please know that although I do charge a small handling fee for shipping supplies, I am not trying to make money on shipping costs. I WILL REFUND any overage on shipping costs over $1. I have had issues since the beginning of the year when USPS changed the shipping rates and have not been able to figure out why the calculator has been overcharging so much. So please do not let the shipping costs scare you into not purchasing from my shoppe and if you have questions at all about the shipping quoted by Etsy, please ask. I cannot see what you are seeing as your shipping costs, but if you want an accurate quote, do not hesitate to message me with your zip code and I will be more than happy to give you an accurate shipping quote. Ooh La La! These French inspired Vintage Style Clothespins are turned out Lovely. I gave them a coat of French Grey Chalk Paint and then two Layers of White Chalk Paint. I then Distressed them back to bring out the French Grey as well as the Natural Wood. I then Decoupaged them with Handstamped Decoupage Paper in Paris and French Themes. From Fleur de Lis to Florals and everything in between. I then sealed them for durability. You will get 5 random Clothespins tied up with matching Vintage French Grey Seam Binding Ribbon from the 20’s-40’s.
Before I did anything to them I did sand them to make sure they were smooth and I left the inside alone so that you can use them for your Dainties if you like. You could use these as they are and put them on your Tiered Trays or on top of a stack of books or in a small glass cloche or apothecary jar. The uses are limitless.
