Denim Blue Grain Sack/Ticking Stripe Patisserie & Confiserie Pink Roses Cake Plate/Stand Riser

Description

This is a Gorgeous French Country Cottage Cake Stand. It started it’s life out as a Vintage terracotta Cake Stand and got a Lovely French makeover. I first added the Filigree Moulds around the base to give it a touch of Ornate. Painted in White Chalk Paint then hand striped in a Lovely shade of Denim Blue. I also gave the Filigree on the base a wash of that Lovely Denim Blue to tie it to the top and give it a little Pizzazz. Then I hand stenciled on the French Patisserie & Confiserie ad. For the final touch I added the Pink & Mauve Roses to give it a touch of Romance. It has a Crackled & Distressed finish for that Time Worn Old World Charm. It was then sealed with a matte clear coat .
