Description
What a Stunning example of French Country 4th of July. This is made from all real wood including the circle at the bottom. I cut 1 1/4″ dowel into 6″, 5″ and 4″ sections. I then sanded them all to make sure there were no rough edges or splinters. I then coated them in White Chalk Paint and then gave them some aging with a slight Antiquing to give them a slightly aged look. Then I sanded the edges a little for that Time Worn look. Next I drilled holes in the tops to allow for the Silver Tinsel Sparklers at the top to be added. Next I painted a wood 3″ circle Antique Gold. I then glued the Vintage Style Silver Tinsel around the base of the Firecrackers and used it for the Sparklers at the top. Next I added Vintage Seam Binding Ribbon to give them that tied together look and topped that off with a Vintage Gold German Glass Glittered Star that I made (you can purchase these and others in my Crafting Confections Etsy Shoppe). This is for those of us that Love decorating for the Holidays but want something a little different from the standard Red White & Blue. I know the red and blue doesn’t go with any of my decor so I’ve always found ways to incorporate the theme but in my color scheme. 🙂 Sorry, I can’t keep talking about it because it is just so Gorge!!! I’m in Love with it. 🙂
Since it is solid wood it is on the heavier side, but it’s sturdy and will last the test of time. It would look Great displayed anywhere in your home; on a tiered tray, on a stack of books, on an entryway table or on a fireplace mantle, etc,. And it looks good from all angles not just from the front. Also note that you may need to fluff the Sparklers up a bit as they may get a little disheveled in shipping although I try to pack them as good as I can I can’t control how many times the packages are thrown on the way to your house. lol But they are easy to bend back in place or make them how you want them to look.
This Gorgeous 4th of July Display is approx. 8″T x 3 1/8″W x 3 1/8″Diam.
