First of all Thank You so very much for taking the time to stop by and browse the items in my little corner of Etsy. Secondly, I have been noticing that the Etsy Shipping Calculator has been overcharging for shipping (I have had to give refunds on just about every purchase since the beginning of the year). Please know that although I do charge a small handling fee for shipping supplies, I am not trying to make money on shipping costs. I WILL REFUND any overage on shipping costs over $1. I have had issues since the beginning of the year when USPS changed the shipping rates and have not been able to figure out why the calculator has been overcharging so much. So please do not let the shipping costs scare you into not purchasing from my shoppe and if you have questions at all about the shipping quoted by Etsy, please ask. I cannot see what you are seeing as your shipping costs, but if you want an accurate quote, do not hesitate to message me with your zip code and I will be more than happy to give you an accurate shipping quote. I can’t help but giggle in Delight every time I look at this Lovely Upcycled Jam Jar. I first coated it in many coats of DIY’s Cottage Colors Paint in Haint Blue. Then I decoupaged the Sweet little rice paper image of an Aqua Corset on an Antique Dress Form with Fluffy Pink Roses and Pink Wings on it. Next I added the Lovely Clay Moulds around the topo of the Image. I used the ones on top because they reminded me of Wings. Then I added the Rose Swag Clay Moulds around the bottom of the Image and gave them all a coat of the same Vintage Haint Blue Paint. Then I White Washed the jar and the moulds to give it that Soft and Romantic look. Next came European Gold Wax to bring out all of the details in the moulds. It is tied at the top with Vintage Seam Binding Ribbon from the 20’s-40″s that is about 3/8″W. I then added the Antique Look Rhinestone Brooch. Then I added more Sparkle with AB Swarovski Crystal Rhinestones (not the cheap ones) around the Image to frame it as well as individual AB Swarovski Crystals throughout the moulds for even more Sparkle and Elegance. Every time I look at it, it just makes me Smile. These Jars and Cans that I do take a lot of time to create but in the end it is so worth it as they always come out so Gorgeous!
The inside has no paint so you can still fill it with water for real flowers or use it for pens and pencils, makeup brushes on your vanity or just as a decor piece on a tiered tray or stack of books. So many uses in your Home Decor or Perfect as a Gift for someone you Love.
